No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

I mentioned how much I like this street we're staying on. It has one problem: a real fear of color in the house choices. Every house is white.

This periwinkle blue trim is the most courageous color choice I've seen in my strolls.

Speaking of which, I won't be taking long walks for a a couple days (except tomorrow when we go to the zoo). This morning I carried something out to the attached garage, stepped up to come into the house and bashed my toe against the doorway. It's a gorgeous black and red color and if it isn't broken the nailbed may be damaged.

It was nice to spend the day at a senior hotel; my limpy, gimpy nature let me fit right in.
